Growing up in middle Tennessee, where I have lived my whole life, my family rarely traveled. Maybe that’s why exploring new places still feels so exciting to me, and why my bucket list keeps getting longer.
My love of travel began in 1993, when my husband and I made our first trip to Walt Disney World. It turned into a tradition, and over the years we made so many memories there with our two sons, who are now grown. I’m a Mickey Mouse fan through and through, and Disney will always have a special place in my heart.
Our recent family trip to Japan was one of the best we’ve ever taken. Tokyo was amazing, and of course we had to visit Tokyo Disneyland, which was unforgettable.
As a respiratory therapist, my work reminds me every day how precious life is. That’s why I believe in making time for adventure and turning travel dreams into real plans.
