MNSSHP is fun for all ages – coming from a 40-year-old who still has “Boo to You” stuck in her head months later!
Party Day Plans Matter!
If you only have one Magic Kingdom day planned, it is very important to know the party schedule before planning your itinerary. Magic Kingdom closes early for guests without party tickets on party days. You definitely don’t want to unknowingly plan to be at Magic Kingdom on a party day and miss the chance to see the Disney Starlight: Dream the Night Away parade and Happily Ever After fireworks spectacular!
If you have more than one day at Magic Kingdom and a Park Hopper ticket, you can spend the first half of the day at Magic Kingdom to ride all of your favorites before hopping to another park for the evening. Those without Park Hopper can take advantage of the low wait times through the early afternoon and then use Disney transportation to resort hop, enjoy a character dining experience, or spend a relaxing evening at the resort.
Low Wait Times? – Yes, please!
Planning a party day in the middle of your trip gives you the freedom of a slow morning, a visit to Disney Springs, or time by the pool and exploring the resort before heading to Magic Kingdom for the afternoon and evening.
Did you know that party days at Magic Kingdom provide a great opportunity to take advantage of lower wait times on popular attractions prior to the party?
Party guests are able to enter the park starting as early as 4:00 PM. This provides an additional three hours of park time prior to the official start of the party! The transition time of regular hours and the start of the party is often the perfect time to make your way to popular rides with lower wait times.
On our party day last October, we were able to ride Tron back-to-back with minimal wait — as in the line never stopped moving! If you know, you know that’s definitely a party day perk!
Having a travel planner to help with all of the details during party season makes Disney even more magical!
I would love to design your family’s fall break adventure so you can focus on making magical memories! Let’s start planning your fall break fun!
